Jasjit S. Suri, an innovator, a visionary, a scientist, and an internationally known world leader, has spent over 30 years in the field of biomedical engineering/sciences, software and hardware engineering, and its management. Dr. Suri has published 50 US/European inventions, 20 Trademarks, 100 books, and over 2000+ peer-reviewed Google Scholar articles, over 425+ international journal articles with the National Library of Medicine (NLM), Washington DC, USA, and currently holds nearly 60,000+ citations, and an H-index~110.
Dr. Suri has conducted over 50 national and international seminars around the globe. Dr. Suri was crowned with (i) Director General’s President’s gold medal (in 1980); (ii) one of the youngest Fellows of the American Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering (FAIMBE, 2004) for his outstanding contributions to health imaging, (iii) a recipient of Marquis Life Time Achievement Award (2018) and life time achievement award by Graphics Era University (Dehradun) for his outstanding contributions in healthcare, (iv) Fellow of American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (FAIUM), Fellow of Asia Pacific Vascular Society (FAPVS), (v) Fellow of Society of Vascular Medicine (FSVM), and (vi) Fellow of IEEE (FIEEE), and (vi) Fellow of Association of AI (FAAAI), all for exceptional contributions in the area of AI in healthcare.
He is also a recipient of “Gems of India Award”, the “Atmanirbhar Face of Bharat Award”, the “Trailblazer AI Award”, and has appeared in magazines like “Forbes”, “Fortune”, “Business India”, and “India Today”. He has also been listed in Wikipedia. He holds degrees from the University of Illinois, Chicago (MS), University of Washington, Seattle (PhD), and Case Western Reserve University (MBA), and has received an Honorary Doctorate from The American University for Global Peace (USA). In 2025, he was named Global Peace Ambassador for the United Nations University for Global Peace (UNUGP) for his contributions to AI in Cardiology, and is now formally recognized as “His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Jasjit S. Suri”. Dr. Suri’s main interest is Artificial Intelligence in healthcare, commercialization, and regulatory.
