Bio
Dr. Amulya Sreejith received her Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India. Prior to joining ISU, she worked as a Research Assistant Professor at Kansas State University and has industry experience as a Research & Development Scientist at GRIDsentry Inc, a power cybersecurity company. Dr. Sreejith's research focuses on fundamental AI algorithms, optimization and data-driven approaches for enhancing the reliability, security, and resilience of modern electric grids, and cybersecurity of operational technology and power networks.
Dr. Sreejith has authored and/or co-authored a textbook on Smart grid cybersecurity, and multiple publications in journals, and international conferences and holds a US patent for a substation cybersecurity product. She serves on the editorial boards of Frontiers in Energy Research and American Journal of Electrical Power and Energy Systems, is a reviewer for various journals including IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Power Systems and IEEE Transactions on Industry Applications and an active member on IEEE PES task forces on data centers, machine learning datasets and resilience metrics.
