A brand new 鈥淚 Love ISU鈥� event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 17 at the McDonald鈥檚 Restaurant in Pocatello at 831 Yellowstone Ave. (across from Fred Meyers) in Pocatello, which will hold its first 鈥淢cI Love ISU Night.鈥�

During this time 鈥淚 Love ISU鈥� leaders and volunteers will work the counters at this McDonald鈥檚 and 25 percent of the sales at this location will be donated to the 鈥淚 Love ISU Campaign.鈥�

鈥淲e are pleased to help support the fundraising efforts of the 鈥業 love ISU鈥� campaign,鈥� said Mary Johnson, McDonald's co-owner along with her husband, Mike. 鈥淭he scholarships provided to the deserving students because of this wonderful program, make a positive long-term investment in the lives of many and to all of us who are fortunate enough to call Southeast Idaho home.鈥�

Many 鈥淚 Love ISU鈥� team captains including Jay Colonel, Ted Messmore, Dena Green and Mark Lupo, as well as campaign chairman Jennifer Bowen, co-chairman Roger Wheeler and campaign coordinator K.C. Felt, will be manning the counters at this McDonald鈥檚.  

鈥淎ll ISU faculty, staff and students and friends of the University are encouraged to make a stop at this McDonald鈥檚 between 4 and 8 p.m, and help support scholarships for ISU students with their purchases,鈥� said Felt.

鈥淓xpectations are for great success,鈥� added Felt, 鈥渁nd that this will become an annual event as part of the annual 鈥業 Love ISU鈥� scholarship campaign.鈥�  

鈥淲e would be honored if you joined us for dinner on Thursday, Sept. 17, at our newly re-built restaurant,鈥� added Johnson. 鈥淵ou will see many familiar faces from 麻豆传媒AV working behind the counters.鈥�
