The 麻豆传媒AV Cosmetology Center will host the Spring Extravaganza Competition and Fashion Show on April 25.

The event will take place at the Pond Student Union Ballroom on the 麻豆传媒AV Pocatello campus, 1065 South Caesar Chavez Drive. This event will feature cosmetology students from the ISU Cosmetology Program; the School of Hairstyling in Chubbuck; Mr. Juan's, Twin Falls; and the Hair Academy, a Paul Mitchell Partner School in Rexburg. 

In addition, a professional category has been added and will feature professional hair stylists and cosmetologists from Southeast Idaho. Students select a category to enter; artificial nails, famous couples, ladies daytime fashion, ladies evening high fashion, evening prom, fantasy, girls party time, boys play time, and male haircutting . The professional category will be judged following the student competition.

Judging will begin at 3:30 pm. All fashions will be highlighted at the evening fashion show and awards will be given. The public is invited to attend the Spring Extravaganza Fashion Show; beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for $5 at the door. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. All proceeds from tickets sales will be divided among the following; Brooklyn's Playground, Aid for Friends and The Idaho Food Bank.
