The KCACTF is a national theater program that recognizes and celebrates the achievements of college and university theater departments across the country. Â鶹´«Ã½AV's Theatre Department was one of only nine schools in the region to be recognized by the KCACTF for its outstanding production of "Marisol."

The awards received by Â鶹´«Ã½AV's Theatre Department for its production of "Marisol" at the KCACTF include:

• The Citizen Artist Award
• Distinguished Achievement in Facilitation of a Brave Rehearsal Space
• Distinguished Achievement in Production Design
• Distinguished Achievement in Scenic Design - Michelle Ludlow and Claire Chrzan
• Distinguished Achievement in Stage Management - Harmoni Thompson, Alyssa Higley, and Staci Allen
