Museum of Natural History to Host Local Author Randy'L Teton

The Idaho Museum of Natural History (IMNH) on Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV’s Pocatello campus will host local author, Randy’L Teton, as she speaks about her new book “It’s Her Story: Sacajawea."
The IMNH is honored to celebrate Native American Heritage Month on Saturday, November 16, from noon - 2 p.m. with Randy’L Teton. An enrolled member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of Fort Hall, Teton is the model for the Sacajawea coin released by the United States Mint in 2000 and author of "It’s Her Story: Sacajawea."
From noon - 12:30 p.m., explore “The Unwritten Story of Sacajawea” as Teton shares her years of research on Sacagawea and the motivation behind her recent children’s book.
Following her presentation, Teton will be doing a book signing from 12:45 -2 p.m. and readings of "It’s Her Story: Sacajawea" at 12:45 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.. Discover the story of Sacajawea from a tribal perspective.
