ISU's Jennifer Stamper attends Phi Kappa Phi Student Vice President Leadership Summit

Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV student Jennifer Stamper recently attended the 2017 Student Vice President Leadership Summit hosted by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi—the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. The event was held this summer in Denver, Colorado.

ISU Homecoming Parade Sept. 30; entry deadline is Sept. 15 to avoid late fee

POCATELLO – Registration is open for the Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV 2017 Homecoming Parade that will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30. Parade entries are due by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15. After this date a $50 late fee applies. No entries will be accepted after 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept.22.

University Women annual book sale set Sept. 7-9 at Reed Gym

POCATELLO – The Pocatello Branch of the American Association of University Women will hold its annual used book sale in Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV’s Reed Gymnasium West Foyer on Sept. 7 from 5 to 8 p.m., Sept. 8 from noon to 7 p.m. and Sept. 9 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Patricia Z. Marincic is the new associate vice president for the Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV-Meridian Health Science Center. She’ll manage campus operations, academic programs and facilitate community outreach, according to university officials.

Idaho State-Civic Symphony announces Julie Sorensen as interim conductor

POCATELLO – The Idaho State Civic-Symphony has named Julie Sorensen as interim conductor for the 2017-2018 season. Sorensen is currently part of Âé¶¹´«Ã½AV’s music faculty and is the conductor of the symphony’s Youth Orchestra.
