ISU Institute of Rural Health seeks comment on statewide traumatic brain injury plan

MERIDIAN—Â鶹´«Ã½AV’s Institute of Rural Health has received a $450,000 grant from the federal Administration for Community Living to continue the development of a statewide action plan to address the needs of citizens living with a traumatic brain injury or TBI.

POCATELLO - Idaho State Journal readers have voted in the annual Reader’s Choice Awards, and the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Audiology Clinic has been awarded second place in the category for Best Hearing Aid Centers in the region. Other award winners in the category include: Miracle Ear, Hearing Zone, Centrum Audiology, Costco and Belltone.

POCATELLO – Fourteen East Idaho high school students from the Pocatello, Chubbuck, Blackfoot Fort Hall and Marsh Valley areas became biomedical researchers for a two-week internship at Â鶹´«Ã½AV’s College of Pharmacy during the month of June.

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - The work of faculty and alumni from the Department of Dental Hygiene at Â鶹´«Ã½AV (ISU) did not go unnoticed at the association’s annual conference in June. There the ADHA honored an ISU faculty member with a prestigious Presidential Citation Award, and installed a new slate of officers for the upcoming year, with an ISU alumna among them.
