The governor's approved budget for fiscal year 2027 did not include funding for an annual Change in Employee Compensation (CEC) at Idaho's higher education institutions. There is no annual merit or other compensation increase for employees for FY2027.

An employee who, through no fault of his/her own, is terminated from ISU employment may be eligible for unemployment compensation benefits. These benefits are paid by the University and issued through the Idaho Department of Commerce and Labor.
