Are you a dinosaur fan hunting for your next dungeon crawl adventure? You're in luck--IMNH is teaming up with in Pocatello to bring you one night of gallivanting goodness inspired by the latest paleontological discoveries in our state!

Dungeons and Dinosaurs is a free-to-play one-shot campaign run in D&D 5e. You and up to five friends will join one of our four Dino Masters--subject matter experts in both the rules of the game and in paleontology--for a fossil-fueled rollicking time. Choose one of 6 unique classes directly inspired by Idaho's resident dinosaurs and roll for initiative!

Maximum 6 players per group, 4 groups total. Ages 14+ Registration is required

Idaho Museum of Natural History’s World Day of Play

We are excited to join the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) and as a member museum as they partner with Nickelodeon on the 2026 Our World: Worldwide Day of Play. As a day dedicated to experiencing joyful learning through play, this global event focuses on getting children and their families active!

Your event or program registration is transferable

If you are unable to attend a workshop or program, you may transfer your registration to another person or to a different date for the same workshop or program. Transfers may take place up to one week prior to the program date. Please email your request to us. Include the order number and name of the person originally registered for the program and the name and contact information of the person taking your place.

If you must cancel:

  • If you request a refund 15 or more days prior to your workshop, you will receive a full refund
  • If you request a refund 8—14 days prior to your workshop, you will receive a 50% refund
  • If you request a refund 7 or fewer days prior to your workshop, no refund will be issued
  • If a camper or anyone in their immediate family is feeling ill, please stay home! Parents or guardians can email imnh@isu.edu or call 208-282-3168, and we will work to place you in another day of camp or workshop when you are feeling better.
