ISU Professor Finney co-authors study supporting theory earliest North American humans arrived by ocean route

POCATELLO – A study co-authored by Â鶹´«Ã½AV Professor Bruce Finney bolsters the argument that more than 15,000 years ago that the first humans who traveled to North America used a coastal route, traveling by boat, as opposed to traveling from the north, walking over a land bridge and then southward between the large retreating glaciers.

Idaho GEM3 project focusing on trout and sagebrush aims to produce new scientists

Petroleum Experts donate MOVEModeling software worth more than $2.5 million to Idaho State University Geosciences department

POCATELLO – Petroleum Experts Limited has donated the equivalent of more than $2.5 million in oil and gas-industry software for use by the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Department of Geosciences that will be used by ISU researchers working on a National Science Foundation grant and for teaching of advanced graduate-level geosciences courses.
