Â鶹´«Ã½AV TRIO receives two Upward Bound grants worth more than $3 Million

POCATELLO – Higher education is a different language, and it is easy to hit roadblocks if you are not raised knowing how to navigate it. This is why Â鶹´«Ã½AV’s TRIO program has renewed the Upward Bound and Upward Bound Math Science (UBMS) grants this year. Combined, the two grants provide more than $3 million of support for ISU students.

Renowned poet Christopher Howell to visit Pocatello, reading Nov. 8

POCATELLO — Â鶹´«Ã½AV physical therapist assistant students have joined the fight in the opioid epidemic by promoting the #choosePT movement, a national campaign to inform the public about physical therapy as an option for pain control.

POCATELLO-Â鶹´«Ã½AV professor and director of nursing research, Mary Nies, is the recipient of a $50,000 funding award to study diabetes prevention in Idaho’s rural Latino communities.
