POCATELLO – Â鶹´«Ã½AV’s Corey Schou will join 33 previous honorees when he is inducted into the 2019 Cyber Security Hall of Fame by the Center for Education and Research Information Assurance and Security.

ISU Professor Mustafa Mashal receives ASCE Engineer of the Year Award

POCATELLO – Â鶹´«Ã½AV Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering Mustafa Mashal was awarded the Southern Idaho Section Engineer of the Year award at the 2019 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Awards Banquet on March 19.

POCATELLO – The U.S. Department of State and the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board have announced that Steve Chiu, Â鶹´«Ã½AV associate professor and director of electrical engineering, has received a Fulbright Scholar Grant to Iceland.

Idaho Museum of Natural History researchers receive grant to digitally scan bones of California blue whale

POCATELLO – The Idaho Museum of Natural History and Â鶹´«Ã½AV received a $20,000 award from the National Science Foundation in January to scan the entire skeleton of a blue whale that washed ashore in California. The skeleton is at the Noyo Center for Marine Science in Fort Bragg, California.
