Idaho ancient bison fossils now available in 3-D thanks to Bureau of Reclamation, Idaho Museum of Natural History

BOISE, Idaho — The Bureau of Reclamation and the Idaho Museum of Natural History (IMNH), which is located on the Â鶹´«Ã½AV campus in Pocatello, have partnered to make fossils more available to the public. Beginning today, the 3-D scan models of Bison latifrons specimens are available online to view, download, and print in 3-D.

Loxterman, associate professor and assistant chair of the Â鶹´«Ã½AV Department of Biological Sciences, will present the annual Phi Kappa Phi Scholarly Lecture "Genetic Tools for Species Conservation" at 7 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Salmon River Suite of the Pond Student Union on the campus of Â鶹´«Ã½AV, and the community is invited to attend.
