ISU awarded AmeriCorps grant to serve children and families throughout Idaho

POCATELLO—Â鶹´«Ã½AV’s HealthCare for Children and Families AmeriCorps program has received a $345,915 federal grant to provide basic health screenings for children and connect underserved families to community resources that can improve their lives, according to the Idaho Department of Labor and ISU.

POCATELLO—Â鶹´«Ã½AV has been awarded a $386,250 grant to establish an area health education center or AHEC to improve access to primary care in underserved and rural communities of southeast Idaho.

Local prep students gain hands-on chemistry lab research experience through Project SEED at Â鶹´«Ã½AV

POCATELLO – Though many aspiring scientists don’t get the chance to perform lab research until they enter college, eight Southeast Idaho high school students had the opportunity to work in Â鶹´«Ã½AV’s chemistry labs this summer thanks to the American Chemical Society’s (ACS) Project SEED.
